CUSTOM MAP SERVER 1
The first server is called Custom Map Server and features the following map contest winners:
- Paradise (Domination) - leave feedback in this thread
- Valley (Domination) - leave feedback in this thread
- Arizona (Tug of War) - leave feedback in this thread
- Ozzault (Assault) - leave feedback in this thread
There are also three more maps on the server:
- Aurons (Domination) - leave feedback in this thread
- Happoland (Domination) - leave feedback in this thread
- Moonshine (Assault) - leave feedback in this thread
Download all maps here!
Download Paradise separately.
Download Happoland separately.
Once the maps are downloaded, put them in your My Documents\World in Conflict\Downloaded\maps folder. Remember to unpack the rar/zip file.

Then you're doing something else wrong. Here's exactly what you're supposed to do
-Download the .rar file. Use the SAVE button.
-Tell the program where you want to save this file. Any place on your computer works
-Open the .rar file. Use Winrar or other programs. If you have to download them. Just google one of them or go to www.download.com
-In this .rar file, they are several .sdf files. These are named after the maps in the pack (Paradise, Arizona etc)
-Extract these SDF files into MyDocuments/World in Conflict/Downloaded/Maps.
If you do exactly all of this, then it will work.
-Download the .rar file. Use the SAVE button.
-Tell the program where you want to save this file. Any place on your computer works

The server has been updated, make sure to download the correct version of Paradise, and the added map Happoland.
A second server will be up tomorrow with some more maps. Remember that you can always give feedback on the maps - if there are some other good maps than just the winners of the map contest it's not impossible for us to release even those.

Mir I downloaded the maps and can see server 1 but server 2 shows ???? what maps are missing that I need to download and where can they be found.

good was wondering which maps were on the 2nd server.... hmm and you changed your avatar.... would be cool if the motion showed up on your units in game.... then I'd have the Badger dance on mine and swoosh would be to busy singing along to shoot me...

there are several members of AOD with the maps and we have tried playing on it but no one else is ever one them. Im me in game if see me on and tryin to get the server started. I might be able to bring some clanmates if not in game/practice
you might want to check custom server 1.... I have two versions of happoland that i downloaded from the thread and it stills says I am missing that map. the rest show up in the list but where happoland should be is all ???.

You can only have one version of Happoland in your maps folder, and it's the one linked to in the first post. The file name is do_Happoland_03.sdf, and that's the latest version of the map. Delete all other versions and you should be fine.

The only way to get them started is either to sit there alone until another player see's someone on it and decides to join. The game start at 2vs2. Once it's started, more players hop in when they see folks on. Snowball effect afterward
The problem is the long waiting time that can be at the start. Especially if you don't enjoy small 1vs1 games.
That's why it's easier to start the server if several members of your clan jumps on at the same time (that's how public clan servers get started)
The other way is to fix dates for this, such as the previous event which was good fun and the one tonight I will sadly not be attending

i see. ive been on there with clan mates before, nobody joined tho and ive also sat there for half an hour and nobody joined. i thought maybe nobody had downloaded the custommaps, or just weren;t interested in playing them
I downloaded the map pack for server #1 following the second "HERE"-link and it didn't contain Paradise :(
Would be nice if Paradise was added into the map pack or if you could edit the first post to point out that you have to download this single map seperately. Happoland was contained in the pack...
