RULES
The standard CPL rules will be used for this tournament.

Tournament System:
- Double Elimination

Map pool:
- Hometown, Farmland, Powerplant, Quarry, Seaside

Map selection:
- Lower seeded teams removes a map, higher seeded team removes two, lower seeded team removes another one. Last map is played. Higher seeded team picks side for first round.
- Both sides being played.
- If both teams win 100-0, the one who achieved it faster advances to next round.

Class selection:
- Each class has to be played once. The fifth player counts as "versatile" and can switch between any class.

Would you call yourself a pro-gamer?
No, I wouldn’t say that I am. I don’t invest enough time to gaming, or earn enough money. I’d rather call myself a competitive gamer.

What are you doing when not playing WiC?
I am studying, two degrees at the same time. I study Business & Marketing and Communication & Media. I am doing a lot of internships!

I also play squash and go visit my girlfriend who lives in the Philippines. Sometimes there is not much time left for practicing WiC!

How do you feel about the upcoming match against d/c?
We would have preferred not to meet them this early. We also fear that they will choose not to play on our favourite maps… But we know we can beat them, we have beaten them before and we can do it again.

What about the matches so far?
We’ve had 2 easy games, and the one against inferno. We are not happy with our performance against them, we could have done better.

Does ToT ever play any public games, or only clan matches?
We played on public servers in the beta, but since release I have only played one or two public matches. Playing pubs and clan matches is totally different. Since we play on a competitive level we don’t gain anything from playing on pubs, since it doesn’t help us improve.

What other games do you play apart from WiC?
I play Dawn of War, and previously I have played GC2 and Impossible Creatures. I generally don’t play shooter games. I played WoW for a few weeks, but stopped when I realised it took too much time.

That would have been cool. Unfortunately Massive doesn't run this tournament, but I'll of course do what I can in the future for possible other tournaments... Which I hope there will be, but I don't know much yet.

Yup, we're working on the Massgate issues as you know.

Massive can't sponsor any leagues or tournaments, but I have asked Sierra about what happens tournament wise after CPL. There won't be any more WiC tournaments organised by CPL, but likely something else. As soon as I get more information from Sierra I'll of course share.
