So... where's the dedicated server update patch? :) The DS package thread wasn't updated yet and I wanna give the new server a test drive.

The link to the Trymedia #005 patch does not work, also the in game link to the patch doesn't work.

German Collector's Edition: which patch?
Here it says, the german cut version is ?_d2_? and the german (uncut?, CE?) is ?_de_?.
But some websites I regulary check provide the patch as following:
German CE = ?_d2_?
German Cut = ?_de_?

Figured out the problem for trymedia users; The URL indates that it's a web link (HTTP) and it's actually an ftp link.
follow the link in your browser and when you get the 505 error just replace HT with F and press enter.

My game crashes constantly. It occurs only during game play, after a few minutes of play. I receive a "Windows must close this program" error.
Reinstalling the game without patches makes the game work fine (Though not online)
Also, I cannot join some servers with the stock maps. The game says I don't have the map (such as silo). Whats the deal with that?!

it gives me this retarded error that i've had to deal with with nearly every path that's been released saying that the patch isn't in the same language as the game. now, I speak english, and i'm fairly certain that I chose some form of english (american most likely) when I installed the game, so the fact that both the american and british patch updaters won't work really pisses me off. i bought the downloadable version of the game, and it seems like it's a problem specific to those of us who wasted our money on that version. seirra made far more money per copy sold online since they didn't have to pay for packaging, distribution, or cd/dvd burning, so why the hell isn't our version supported?
